Boat & yacht charters · Spain
How much should you tip a yacht crew in Spain?
Short answer
5–10% of the charter fee
5–10% of the charter price for crewed boats.
CommonCash preferred
Crewed charters in the Balearics follow the Mediterranean 5–10% convention, paid at the end of the trip for the crew to share. Bareboat charters have no crew to tip. For a shared day sail, €5–10 per person is plenty.
