How much should you tip a yacht crew in France?
Short answer
5–10% of the charter fee
5–10% for a crewed charter on the Riviera.
CommonCash preferred
Crewed yacht charters on the Côte d'Azur follow the Mediterranean convention: 5–10% of the base charter fee at the end of the trip, given to the captain to distribute. Larger superyacht charters often sit at the lower end because the base fee is so high.
