Do you tip taxi drivers in Spain?
Short answer
Round up
Round the fare up. Nothing more.
OptionalCash preferred
Spanish taxi drivers do not expect tips. Rounding up to the nearest euro is standard, and adding €1–2 for luggage or an airport run is generous. Airport and station supplements on the meter are official charges, not gratuities.
